Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain with relocation support

hirify.global builds a leading Chat Marketing platform used by over 1.5 million customers worldwide, enabling automated conversations across multiple messaging platforms.

What you will do

  • Lead architecture and technical decisions to ensure scalability and best practices.
  • Plan team growth, recruit, mentor, and motivate engineers fostering a strong feedback culture.
  • Evaluate and enhance team performance through regular feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering Managers on strategy and OKRs.
  • Optimize workflows to improve team efficiency and drive innovation.
  • Participate in code reviews, system design, and occasional coding to support the team.

Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of engineering management experience leading cross-functional teams with backend and frontend scope.
  • Expertise in software development and architecture design; experience with high-load systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PHP 8 as a developer.
  • Proven ability to improve engineering processes and foster trust with product and engineering teams.
  • Experience with Agile values and principles.
  • English proficiency at least B2 (job posting language).
