Senior Backend Engineer

What you will do

• Build and maintain distributed backend systems supporting millions of users
• Design and implement fast, reliable, and secure APIs
• Work with databases including SQL and NoSQL
• Collaborate on DevOps and cloud infrastructure tasks
• Own outcomes and contribute to product-driven engineering

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in backend distributed systems
• Fluency in Java, Scala, Python or similar languages
• Strong understanding of system performance, reliability, and security trade-offs
• Experience with DevOps, databases, and API design
• English: B2 level or higher
• Hybrid work format

Nice to have

• Experience with stream processing
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
