Senior Java Developer

Location: Full-time onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark

What you will do

• Develop backend functionality using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Write automated unit and integration tests.
• Manage database changes and data models.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with developers and stakeholders across organisational boundaries.

Requirements

• Several years of professional Java development experience and strong hands-on Spring Boot experience.
• Experience developing APIs and integrations, automated testing, CI/CD, containerisation, and deployment.
• Ability to work independently and contribute actively to a development team.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in complex business domains.
• Professional fluency in Danish and English.
• Availability for full-time onsite work in Copenhagen.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Spock, Liquibase, or public-sector solutions.
• Experience with Vue.js, JAX-WS, Apache CXF, SOAP, or XML.
