Web Scraping Engineer (Python/Go)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with 3 office days and 2 work-from-home days, plus work-from-anywhere options.

Gross salary: €4,400–€7,000 per month, with flexibility based on skills and competencies.

What you will do

• Design and build high-scale crawlers, scrapers, parsers, and supporting infrastructure handling thousands to millions of requests.
• Own custom client projects end-to-end, translating requirements into solutions without detailed specifications.
• Write functional, reusable Python or Go code and use AI-driven development tools to improve delivery efficiency.
• Work within the data platform to build and deliver large datasets through internal or newly developed scraping tools.
• Justify technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with the team on reliable solutions.

Requirements

• Multiple years of backend development experience with Python or Go, or strong web scraping expertise supported by AI tools.
• Knowledge of web scraping fundamentals, parsing, headless browsers, and databases such as PostgreSQL or BigQuery.
• Experience with data engineering, including ETL/ELT pipelines and tools such as Spark, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Comfort with AI-driven development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Antigravity.
• Ability to work independently, own delivery, and prioritize speed and business impact.
