Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Lithuania; hybrid work from offices in Vilnius or Kaunas

Salary: €4,500–€6,200 gross per month

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and REST or gRPC APIs.
• Create reusable frameworks and libraries for other development teams.
• Implement secure coding practices and improve application security.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and developers to define requirements and technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain documentation for development processes, architecture, and codebases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with .NET and ASP.NET development.
• Experience with SQL databases and API development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including code quality, security, and performance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Must be located in Lithuania and able to work in the hybrid model from Vilnius or Kaunas.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging systems.
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture or other system architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, metrics, observability tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
