TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Fintech): Expanding the customer base in Italy by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals for medium and large web shops, focusing on C-level and in-depth sales conversations. Focus on outbounding to prospective merchants, coordinating onboarding, and leveraging hirify.global's value proposition to ensure successful go-live.

Location: Hybrid in Milan, Italy. Responsible for outbounding to prospective merchants in Italy.

What you will do

  • Outbound to prospective merchants in Italy through email, cold calling, and in-person events.
  • Follow-up with inbound marketing and partnership leads using sales tools.
  • Own the deal pipeline of new prospects from first contact through to live customer.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the onboarding and integration of new customers.
  • Collaborate with onboarding and risk early in the sales process to optimize conversion and manage risk.
  • Meet merchants face-to-face and creatively sell hirify.global's value proposition.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Italian and English (required).
  • 4-8 years of experience in full cycle sales (account executive type position).
  • Strong experience in outbound sales and a hunter mindset.
  • Confidence in discussing technical solutions.
  • Organized, structured, analytical, and target-focused approach.
  • Strong networking skills and enjoyment of face-to-face interactions.

Nice to have

  • Experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Prestashop, Magento, and Shopify.
