operates a global travel subscription platform with a proprietary AI platform supporting personalized travel experiences across flights, hotels, rail, packages, and car rentals.
What you will do
- Drive technical work and provide guidance for complex engineering initiatives.
- Improve software structure, architecture, testability, maintainability, and technical investment planning.
- Deliver high-complexity projects involving multiple stakeholders while monitoring and mitigating timeline risks.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and support their professional growth.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and business stakeholders and build organizational alignment.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience driving technical work for other engineers.
- Deep knowledge of Java software engineering concepts, including object-oriented and functional programming, concurrency, data structures, design patterns, databases, and APIs.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle, including production deployment, unit and integration testing, cloud, and continuous delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, design, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English is required for communication in a multicultural environment.
- Commitment to technical excellence, continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and resilient high-performing solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
- Interest in experimenting with AI-driven software development workflows and using AI tools for debugging and productivity.
