What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications and systems aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the architecture and technical design of scalable, performant, and maintainable Java-based projects.
- Build payment routing, fraud prevention, and anomaly detection systems, including real-time fraud decisioning tools.
- Optimize application performance through code, database query, and resource-utilization improvements.
- Identify design flaws and system bottlenecks through validation and performance testing.
- Conduct code reviews, prepare system performance reports, and collaborate with technology leaders and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong experience in Java application development, software architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and event-driven architecture.
- Ability to solve complex software system issues and write clean, efficient, readable code.
- Experience with production monitoring and telemetry tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or ELK.
- Upper-intermediate written and spoken English proficiency.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
