What you will do

• Plan and execute customer-facing Harbour Acceptance Trials (HATs)
• Train and mentor Type 26 Naval Systems Engineers
• Create and review technical documentation including test scripts and reports
• Support test activities at multiple integration facilities in the UK and Germany
• Contribute to resolving in-service system issues

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom or able to work onsite at UK dockyards and facilities
• Recognized engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience as a Senior or Principal Engineer in complex system installation and testing
• Ability to lead technical fault diagnosis and rectification
• Experience with technical documentation and electronic test suites
• Active SC clearance or willingness to undergo vetting process

Nice to have

• Knowledge of military communication systems and standards
• Experience with RF communications, fibre optics, and network devices (Juniper/Cisco)
• Experience working in shipyard environments and cable termination/testing
