What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing cross-functional engineering team
• Design and own end-to-end architecture across mobile and backend systems
• Translate product requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs
• Collaborate with AI and product teams to bring model outputs into production
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, mentorship, and hands-on development
• Define and deliver a technical roadmap aligned with business goals

Requirements

• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Barcelona, Spain
• English proficiency at least B2 (job posting in English)
• 5+ years software development experience with 2+ years in mobile development (Flutter a plus)
• Strong skills in image rendering, caching, concurrency, and performance optimization
• Experience architecting backend systems supporting AI-driven workflows
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GPU-based inference, asynchronous task handling, and privacy best practices
• Passion for innovation and emerging AI technologies like Stable Diffusion and ControlNet
