Strategic Sourcing Manager, Software/SaaS (Associate)

What you will do

• Lead and participate in commercial and contract negotiations for technology products and services, with a focus on software and SaaS/PaaS agreements.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Compliance, Engineering, and business stakeholders on vendor management.
• Develop financial analyses covering vendor viability, total cost of ownership, return on investment, benchmarking, and savings opportunities.
• Advise technology and business groups on software licensing, commercial terms, contractual risks, and vendor risks.
• Lead and participate in software license audits and certifications.
• Track and report strategic vendor activities, spend, trends, sensitivities, and opportunities across firm business units.

Requirements

• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, commercial negotiations, or vendor management for technology-related products and services.
• Knowledge of software agreements, including internally hosted and vendor-hosted SaaS/PaaS arrangements.
• Ability to create financial analyses and evaluate total cost of ownership, return on investment, vendor viability, and cost savings.
• Ability to collaborate with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Compliance, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Sound judgment, analytical thinking, commercial orientation, and strong internal and external communication skills.
