Salary: $120,000–$170,000 per year, with flexible salary and equity compensation mixes.

designs and builds radar satellite systems and ground software for continuously updated, high-resolution 3D Earth observation.
What you will do
- Manage day-to-day company operations as the first dedicated operations hire.
- Design and implement lightweight internal processes, systems, and standardized workflows to support growth.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and the Chief of Staff on operational tooling and infrastructure decisions.
- Support people operations, including onboarding, offboarding, policy documentation, and benefits coordination.
- Own vendor relationships and procurement, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Coordinate customer visits, candidate interviews, conferences, demos, travel, and company offsites.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of operations experience, including meaningful experience at an early-stage startup.
- Broad experience with vendors, facilities, people operations, and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to operate independently and make decisions in ambiguous, unstructured environments.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR regulations.
Nice to have
- Experience as an early or first operations hire.
- Background in consulting, investment banking, hardware, aerospace, or defense.
- Exposure to government contracting environments.
