Country Manager - Italy (Sales)

TL;DR

Country Manager (Fintech): Driving digital transformation and sales strategy across METRO countries, focusing on achieving ambitious sales targets and integrating customer feedback into product development. Focus on leading the shift from traditional to digital sales channels and securing digital solution rollouts with local boards.

Location: Based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Requires frequent travel within Germany. Up to 30 days remote work from abroad (outside of Germany) is possible in specific countries.

Salary: Approximately €95,000 annually.

DISH was established in 2015 as a wholly owned subsidiary of METRO AG to develop digital solutions that contribute to the success of HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, and caterers).

What you will do

• Execute and continuously improve DISH sales strategy across METRO countries, including multichannel and digital transformation initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with country executives and boards to align sales ambitions and drive digital solution rollouts.
• Consistently achieve sales targets under varying business conditions through a bottom-up, impact-driven approach.
• Integrate customer and sales feedback into solution development and portfolio enhancements.
• Lead the shift from traditional to digital sales channels, ensuring measurable value for both METRO and its customers.
• Support in the sales recruitment of DSF: from hunting, onboarding to performance management, and building strong identity teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales strategy execution and continuous improvement as well as implementing multichannel sales approaches.
• Very good experience with Payment or POS products or professional background covering one of both industries.
• Background in sales recruitment, team building, and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets under various business circumstances.
• Customer-centric mindset with the ability to leverage feedback for product improvement.
• English: C1 Level required.
• German: C1 Level required.
