Location: Hybrid role, based in the United States.

Salary: $186,000 – $233,000 USD

What you will do

  • Manage and mentor a talented engineering team while fostering a collaborative, people-first culture.
  • Oversee the maintenance of design systems and isomorphic Remix/React microservice templates.
  • Define and advocate for architectural standards, common UI libraries, and tooling to improve developer efficiency.
  • Facilitate cross-team projects, balancing strategic platform needs with tactical delivery requirements.
  • Partner with product management to define team roadmaps and accurately estimate project work.
  • Participate in high-level architectural discussions and oversee the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product software development experience at scale.
  • 2+ years of experience as a technical leader or manager.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, and React.
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS.
  • Strong project management skills using Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with Remix or Next.js.
