What you will do
- Define and own the long-term technical vision for the Frontend Platform, including design systems, component libraries, and frontend architecture.
- Lead the development of core tooling that enables product teams to ship high-quality interfaces faster and with greater consistency.
- Advance AI-driven developer experiences, implementing tooling and architectural guardrails to reduce toil and improve quality.
- Own performance and compliance across frontend applications, setting standards and building systems to maintain them at scale.
- Partner deeply with Design and Product to shape the company's visual identity and strengthen the design-to-engineering loop.
- Lead and mentor a high-performance engineering team, raising the bar for technical execution and problem-solving.
Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering management experience, including 3+ years leading product or platform engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in frontend architecture, design systems, and developer experience challenges at scale.
- Proven ability to deliver complex, ambiguous projects spanning multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in experimentation, measurement, and optimization.
- Strong leadership skills with a founder's mindset: ownership, speed, and a bias toward action.
- Must be based in or able to work from the New York City, San Francisco, or Seattle hubs.
