TL;DR
Lead IoT Solutions Engineer (Embedded IoT Dev): Design, build, and integrate IoT devices and hardware components for commercial and industrial applications with an accent on vision-based automated license plate recognition and edge computing deployments. Location: Munich, Germany (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

What you will do
- Design, build, and integrate IoT devices focused on ALPR and digital signage applications.
- Lead hardware integration of peripherals into Point of Sale systems.
- Manage and support Linux-based embedded systems ensuring security and reliability.
- Deploy and maintain software on edge computing devices for scalability and efficiency.
- Analyze IoT device data to identify improvements and optimize integrations.
- Oversee IoT project lifecycles from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Munich, Germany
- English: Fluent required
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with edge computing software development.
- Experience with Bash, Ansible, AWS IoT Core/Greengrass or similar IoT fleet management solutions.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hardware validation skills.
Nice to have
- German language skills.
- C++ programming experience.
- Familiarity with simulation tools and test procedures for hardware design validation.
