Lead IoT Solutions Engineer

Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid setup with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Remote work is also available from within the EU.

What you will do

• Design, build, and integrate IoT devices for commercial and industrial applications.
• Develop solutions for vision-based automated license plate recognition, digital signage, and digital access control.
• Lead the integration of payment terminals, coin changers, thermal printers, and sensors into kiosk systems.
• Operate, secure, support, and troubleshoot Linux-based embedded systems.
• Deploy and manage software on edge computing devices and analyze IoT fleet data to improve system performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders while managing IoT projects from concept through delivery.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a comparable field.
• Experience developing software for edge computing devices.
• Advanced Python skills; experience with C++ is beneficial.
• Experience with Bash, Ansible, AWS IoT Core, AWS IoT Greengrass, or comparable IoT fleet management solutions.
• Familiarity with simulation tools and test procedures for hardware validation, along with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent English required; German is beneficial.

• Experience with C++.
• German language skills.
