Electronic Warfare Developer (d/m/f)

Location: Manching, Germany; the role is based on-site, with mobile working and flexible arrangements available where possible.

What you will do

• Develop EMO Management software components for Spectrum Management and the EMO Decision Advisor.
• Work on the classical, non-AI part of the Electro-Magnetic Operations Decision Advisor.
• Translate abstract concepts into executable software solutions and robust source code.
• Integrate software components up to Technology Readiness Level 5 and potentially support handover to product development.
• Integrate and test software components with the JADES simulation tool.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional, multidisciplinary engineering team.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Professional experience in software development using an IDE; Eclipse is currently used.
• Programming skills in C and the ability to convert abstract concepts into executable source code.
• Experience working with VS-NfD data.
• Hands-on knowledge of Doxygen, Git, Wireshark, Matlab, Linux command line, and software documentation.
• Business-fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python and JADES.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as NDAS, CESMO, and Link 16.
• Knowledge of avionics software development.
