Senior GNC Engineer - Navigation, Flight Software (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Architect the next-generation navigation system for the Spectrum orbital launch vehicle.
• Develop, verify, and validate guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for all phases of flight.
• Tune and improve navigation algorithms using flight data.
• Own the vehicle’s GNSS applications and perform GNSS integrity studies and analysis.
• Conduct ground and flight integrity monitoring for safety-critical navigation systems.
• Support robust vehicle performance through flight dynamics, state estimation, control theory, and high-fidelity simulation.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in inertial navigation algorithms and Kalman filter techniques.
• At least 3 years of experience with GNSS receiver configuration and testing, including GNSS simulator test setups.
• Strong understanding of integrity monitoring and resilience against jamming and spoofing, with experience conducting GNSS integrity studies.
• Experience developing with MATLAB, Python, and C++, and proficiency with Git.
• Fluent English required. Maintain and drive a high standard of technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with RTK and PPK.
• Strong understanding of discrete signal-processing techniques.
