What you will do

• Design, implement, and deliver backend features and projects within the parcel sorting domain.
• Break down complex engineering challenges and guide team members through solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code ensuring high quality.
• Lead efforts to maintain system stability, performance, and scalability.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap by identifying gaps and proposing improvements.
• Mentor and onboard engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Participate in incident management and drive long-term improvements.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth integrations and unified technical approaches.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a hybrid setup based in Stockholm, Sweden.
• Strong experience with Go or similar strongly typed languages; familiarity with JavaScript, Python, Java, or Kotlin is a plus.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud environments (preferably GCP or AWS).
• Proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to make confident decisions.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering culture.
• Ability to balance long-term stability with short-term delivery needs.
