Associate Business Analyst (AI)

Location: Canada; remote, aligned to Toronto and other hub locations. Applications from outside these locations are also welcomed.

Salary: CAD 60,000–75,000 base salary, with potential eligibility for bonus and commission plans.

What you will do

• Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, risk identification, and priority management within client delivery teams.
• Support client discovery workshops, challenge existing processes, and identify opportunities to improve end-user outcomes.
• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, process designs, and engineering and product discussions.
• Identify data inputs, integration touchpoints, exception scenarios, and compliance-sensitive flows during solution design.
• Build AI-driven workflows, prompt strategies, and analytical reports using tools such as ThoughtSpot.
• Own test strategies, acceptance criteria, UAT leadership, AI output validation, and continuous improvement of live solutions.

Requirements

• Business analysis experience with meaningful exposure to insurance, including underwriting, claims, policy administration, or distribution.
• Experience running client-facing workshops and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows, and LLM behavior and limitations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely from Canada or near the Toronto hub; candidates outside these locations may also apply.
