What you will do

• Provide technical support for desktop environments and automated setups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS (Linux), network, and peripheral issues.
• Maintain and monitor hardware performance and data center connectivity.
• Collaborate with senior technologists and support production and back office computing.
• Improve automation skills, especially in Python.
• Work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of desktop support or related experience
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Linux command-line, and TCP/IP networking
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware failures and maintain professional user interactions.
• Familiarity with Git and hardware monitoring.
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds and work flexible shifts.
• Preferred educational background in computer science or IT.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux servers.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as DNS, DHCP, VLAN.
• Python programming skills.
