What you will do
- Build and deliver a scalable data warehouse from scratch to support company-wide initiatives.
- Design and optimize end-to-end data pipelines ensuring data quality and governance.
- Collaborate closely with CTO, data analysts, data engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
- Support analytics and data-driven strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Contribute proactively in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years of data engineering experience, preferably in high-traffic or fintech environments.
- HBO+ degree in a relevant technical field.
- Proficiency in advanced SQL (including window functions), Python (Airflow, PySpark), and AWS services (EMR, Athena, Kinesis, Lambda).
- Experience with data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), infrastructure automation with Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Ownership of end-to-end data pipelines and strong collaboration skills with data analysts and developers.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player thriving in cross-functional setups.
