Quant Developer, Research & Analytics, Infrastructure EU Team (Python/SQL)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid schedule with the possibility to work from home 2–3 days per week.

What you will do

• Collaborate with portfolio managers, researchers, and engineers to turn infrastructure investment ideas into high-performance tooling.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and cloud-native applications.
• Perform quantitative thematic research to assess the impact of relevant topics on portfolio underwriting.
• Develop and enhance data-driven analytics and an LLM platform used in investment decisions.
• Translate research into scalable, low-maintenance information products.
• Ensure system stability, data accuracy, and model transparency.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Git, and clean coding practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud solutions, and microservices.
• Strong analytical and statistical reasoning, effective communication, and collaborative working skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic engineering.
• Interest in private infrastructure investing and alternative datasets.
