What you will do
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for assigned Federal accounts identifying growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with customer organizations and internal Cisco teams to align on outcomes and value.
- Lead complex sales cycles including trials, procurement, and negotiation with multiple stakeholders.
- Drive forecast accuracy and maintain pipeline hygiene using Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure smooth deployment and impact post-sale.
- Operate as a Challenger seller to uncover customer pain points and drive urgency.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Federal sales professional or military veteran with experience in public sector sales.
- Proven success in building and scaling emerging SaaS markets and exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience working in large, matrixed organizations and managing complex enterprise sales.
- Strong executive presence with ability to navigate strategic and technical discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Active U.S. Government security clearance is a plus.
