What you will do

• Assist in administering our network, performing routine updates and patches under guidance to ensure performance and security.
• Help develop and follow procedures for network troubleshooting, recovery, backup, and maintenance.
• Support efforts to build and optimize the internal network.
• Contribute to and maintain documentation of processes, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in planning discussions by gathering requirements and providing feedback.

Requirements

• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Linux servers, or Cumulus Linux switches.
• Fundamental understanding of IP routing concepts and policies.
• Basic Linux administration and networking skills.
• Understanding of core network architecture and protocols.
• Strong willingness to learn and effective communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to OpenStack components.
• Familiarity with Ceph concepts.
• Coding/scripting skills (e.g., Python or Bash).
• Experience in a data center or lab environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Palo Alto PCCSA/PCCET).
