Global Supply Manager

What you will do

• Lead strategic commodities within the technically challenging supply chain for Waveguides, Displays and Optical Engines.
• Provide technical support to internal team members.
• Source high-quality parts and sub-assemblies that meet performance, functional, and commercial criteria.
• Drive design to cost to achieve optimal technology at the optimal cost point.
• Lead due diligence and qualification of new suppliers and technologies.
• Produce and maintain should cost models for key commodities.

Requirements

• Have a relevant Engineering degree and/or a commercial discipline with applicable experience working in both of these fields.
• 5+ years of experience working in Engineering/Procurement at a tech or consumer goods company.
• Proficient negotiator with proven abilities in influencing people at all levels in the organisation.
• Able to prioritise duties and work well on your own.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
• Background working with both internal and external partners.
