What you will do

Own the backend platform architecture, infrastructure, and foundational services.
Drive the evolution of the platform to support scale, performance, and reliability.
Build a real-time digital twin of renewable generation and customer demand.
Design and manage high-volume data pipelines for energy consumption and system telemetry.
Lead the development of integration layers and messaging interfaces with third-party services.
Establish engineering best practices for observability, CI/CD, testing, and scalability.

Requirements

Proven track record as a senior software engineer or tech lead, ideally with platform/backend focus.
5+ years experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Experience building and operating production-grade systems at scale.
Strong understanding of system design, distributed computing, and cloud infrastructure.
Clear and proactive communication, with the ability to align cross-functional teams.
Hands-on approach to solving problems and making strategic decisions.

Nice to have

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CDK, Terraform).
Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging queues, or stream processing.
Familiarity with building internal platforms or developer tooling.
