Compensation Range: $171K - $229K

What you will do

• Join a backend team of 10+ engineers working on key features.
• Lead projects and coordinate with product and design teams.
• Own the design and development of backend services in a microservices architecture.
• Optimize platform performance using tools like Redis, Postgres, and Kafka.
• Guide data-driven decisions to adopt new technologies.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and pairing sessions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering and Backend Systems.
• Experience with large-scale systems in a microservice architecture.
• Proficient in AWS and cloud services.
• Strong understanding of concurrency concepts.
• Experience with JVM languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin, Postgres, and Kafka.
• Experience in mentoring less experienced developers.
