What you will do

• Develop low-latency financial software, including order book matching engines and trading engines.
• Build high-performance REST and WebSocket APIs for the frontend application and programmatic traders.
• Create open-source blockchain-based code that powers the hirify.global protocol.
• Architect performant and reliable backend systems.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to optimize the overall product.
• Mentor and develop team members on design techniques and coding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing core Node.js services.
• Experience with Terraform and AWS (EC2, Glue, S3, Athena).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Datadog.
• Must be based in New York, NY for a hybrid work arrangement.
