iOS Engineer (Monetization)

Location: Hybrid role based in Palo Alto, California, United States; in-person attendance required Tuesdays and Thursdays

Base pay: $190,000–$254,000 annually for the U.S. Bay Area, plus equity, benefits, and a company bonus program.

What you will do

• Architect and implement A/B tests for core monetization features, using data-driven decisions and real-time observability.
• Build and evolve the iOS application using Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, FactoryKit, and Swift Concurrency.
• Develop highly scalable, consumer-facing mobile products supporting subscriptions, purchases, pricing, packaging, and checkout.
• Maintain and improve software architecture, performance, metrics, and long-term technical direction.
• Partner with backend, Android, product, and cross-functional stakeholders across time zones.
• Raise technical proficiency through mentoring and adoption of new tools and ways of working.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience building complex iOS applications.
• Strong practical knowledge of software engineering best practices and design patterns, including MVVM, Coordinator, one-way data flow, modular architecture, and performance optimization.
• Experience with architecture at scale and exposure to technology stacks beyond mobile.
• Experience with product leadership, technical decision-making, and balancing product needs with code quality.
• Ability to work deeply in code, lead long-term initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders from individual contributor to C-suite level.
• Ability to work from the Palo Alto office on Tuesdays and Thursdays is required.
