iOS Engineer

Location: New York City, NY; on-site at the NYC headquarters

Salary: $180K–$275K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and ship the Medal iOS experience for millions of gamers.
• Develop real-time recording and clipping workflows.
• Create social feeds, content discovery, and chat experiences.
• Shape mobile architecture and influence product direction.
• Drive projects end-to-end, from product ideas and experiments through release.
• Collaborate with backend teams through REST API integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent experience shipping iOS applications.
• Strong knowledge of Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Experience with Swift Concurrency and Combine.
• Experience building complex real-time, video/media-heavy, or social applications.
• Track record of owning projects end-to-end, with strong attention to code and interface quality.
• Experience using analytics, testing, user feedback, and crash reports to guide development.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile video at a consumer-facing company.
• AVFoundation experience.
• Strong interest in gaming.
