TL;DR
Business Development Lead (SaaS): Building the business development function from the ground up at , owning the top of the funnel, and setting the strategy for engaging and educating new prospects with an accent on building a scalable pipeline engine. Focus on outbound prospecting campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and in-person visits.
Location: Remote-first within the U.S. and Canada
Salary: $100k - $120k

What you will do
- Assess ICP fit, qualify and map accounts, identify buying groups.
- Own and execute outbound prospecting campaigns across all channels.
- Generate qualified pipeline for Account Executives by uncovering new opportunities.
- Design and test creative outbound strategies and messaging.
- Represent at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to feedback prospect learnings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in outbound sales or business development at a SaaS company.
- Experience building pipeline from scratch.
- Deep experience with sales engagement platforms and lead-gen tools like Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Understanding of email deliverability and domain warm-up.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Passionate about building and energized by ownership.
