Account Representative

TL;DR

Account Representative: Maintaining existing customer accounts and generating new business within an assigned territory or set of named accounts with an accent on maximizing sales profitability, growth, and account penetration. Focus on uncovering customer's pain points, presenting the value of company's products, and developing effective proposals.

What you will do

• Perform sales activities, establish and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to maintain renewal business and generate new business.
• Sell products/services through telephone as well as face-to-face contact.
• Uncover customer’s pain points and identify the best solution.
• Create and maintain account plans for existing customers.
• Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
• Participate in trade shows and conventions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business or related field with 1+ years of experience in technical sales positions OR 5+ years of experience in technical sales positions.
• Demonstrated understanding of engineering analysis and technology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English and in Italian.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
