What you will do

• Develop solution architecture, statements of work, and services proposals; contribute to simulation assessments and negotiate services deliverables.
• Lead planning, architecture, and sprint development at a project level.
• Coordinate project design and development activities, focusing on user experience, software design, solution deployment, and integration.
• Act as a technical reference, develop and employ best practices, and maintain them through technical reviews and mentoring.
• Collaborate with Product Development to enhance hirify.global software products and customer experience.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 12 years’ experience, MS with 10 years’ experience, or PhD with 7 years’ experience.
• Experience leading projects and delivering high-quality products in a U.S Government or defense contractor environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of engineering practices and product development, and experience with building solutions using simulation technology within customers’ engineering workflows.
• Demonstrated use of relevant hirify.global software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
• Experience with version control systems and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership and mentoring skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies.

Nice to have

• Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+16, MS+14, or PhD+11.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Java, C#, Python and front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular).
• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance (or ability and willingness to obtain a clearance).
