Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer

Location: Global Remote; work from wherever you want

Salary: $97,000–$200,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and operate the application stack and AWS infrastructure for hosted hirify.global customer instances.
• Debug runtime issues across the application and hosting stacks.
• Build internal tooling and automation for the full hosted installation lifecycle, from purchase and deployment through zero-downtime upgrades and operational health.
• Improve automated deployments, testing, application metrics, deployment speed, and CI integration.
• Work on multi-region hosting, EKS cluster provisioning, Kubernetes CRDs and Operators, and RDS sharding for a multi-tenant platform.
• Maintain SOC2 compliance and the platform’s security posture.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience building and operating production infrastructure, ideally in public cloud environments.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code and Terraform.
• Ability to write high-quality, readable code in a modern language such as Python or Go.
• Experience with modern monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Ability to make sound technical decisions, explain them clearly, automate extensively, and document work carefully.
