Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

Location: Remote

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 base salary plus corporate bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and AWS CDK across core AWS resources.
• Architect highly available and resilient cloud environments for consumer lending applications.
• Develop TypeScript automation for cloud and corporate infrastructure.
• Implement policy-as-code guardrails that enable secure, independent application deployments.
• Manage cloud financial operations, including cost optimization, budgeting, and resource attribution.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including regular testing exercises.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or cloud platform engineering.
• Strong Terraform and/or AWS CDK expertise, including module development, state management, and automated deployment workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2/ECS, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch, plus Kubernetes and EKS.
• Experience with build automation, CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD, networking, and zero-trust platforms such as Zscaler.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, solve complex problems, communicate clearly, and build consensus across teams.
• Leadership and mentorship experience, including guiding junior engineers; a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• AWS certification such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty.
