DevOps Engineer III (AWS)

Location: Jersey City, NJ, United States (Hybrid)

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 annualized base pay

What you will do

• Build, administer, and optimize complex continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Design AWS cloud environments and automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot server and application issues, and resolve outages through root cause analysis.
• Lead production migrations and provide off-hours support for mission-critical applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve operational efficiency and system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with Linux administration, Windows administration, and IIS management.
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CLI, Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with Bash, Chef, PowerShell, Python, XML, REST APIs, HTTP methods, and web concepts.
• Experience with Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, MSBuild, NUnit, Git, Maven, Docker, and continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools, networking, firewalls, XML configuration, HTTP headers, and response codes.
