TL;DR

Business Value Consultant (AI/SaaS): Build and scale value engineering function partnering with Sales on strategic enterprise opportunities with an accent on translating platform capabilities into quantified business impact via ROI models and business cases. Focus on developing repeatable value frameworks, leading executive-level conversations with CFOs and COOs, and operationalizing value-based selling across GTM teams.

Location: On-site in San Francisco or New York City

Salary: $265K – $330K OTE • Offers Equity • Offers Commission

What you will do

• Drive strategic enterprise deals by partnering with Account Executives to uncover pain points, build ROI models, and lead value conversations with executives.
• Develop and scale industry-specific value frameworks, standardize ROI models, and create reusable assets like calculators and templates.
• Operationalize value-based selling by embedding it into sales processes, training teams, and establishing best practices for linking capabilities to outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and RevOps to capture customer value, align pricing, and track GTM impact.

Requirements

• 6+ years in value engineering, management consulting, sales engineering, strategic finance, or similar roles
• Proven experience partnering with Sales on complex enterprise deals
• Strong financial modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets) for building defensible ROI models
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for executives
• Executive presence for leading conversations with CFOs, COOs, and senior stakeholders
• Familiarity with enterprise buying cycles and value-based selling

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, AI/ML, customer operations, or contact centers
• Background in consulting or strategic finance
• Scaling value engineering in high-growth companies
• Familiarity with GTM systems like Salesforce and Gong
• Experience in regulated industries like financial services or healthcare
