TL;DR

Sales Development Manager: Building and leading a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives and Business Development Representatives to drive new business opportunities and expand market share through qualified pipeline. Focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing new sellers, while collaborating with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead quality and process improvements.

Location: Must be based in New York, New York

Salary: $195,000 - $205,000 per year (on-target earnings)

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Sales Managers, Marketing Leadership, & Revenue Operations Leadership to develop hirify.global’s Sales Development strategy.
  • Partner with regional leaders to plan territory mapping and pipeline development programs.
  • Build winning teams by attracting, hiring, and developing top sales representatives.
  • Enable your team to prospect, identify, and qualify sales pipeline through coaching and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Help build the foundations of Sales at hirify.global and meaningfully shape the future product.

Requirements

  • Experience including either 1-2 years managing a high-performing Sales Development team or 1-2 years Account Executive experience at a SaaS company.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets across team and individual goals.
  • Skilled in managing and coaching early-career salespeople.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on empowerment, positive mindsets, collaboration, and inspiring a team.
  • Comfortable with the ambiguity and pace of iteration of a high-growth startup.
  • Analytical mindset and enjoy problem-solving as part of a regional leadership team.

Nice to have

  • Experience building new business sales playbooks or processes.
  • Experience as a first or early hire at a fast-growing start-up.
  • Experience leading and improving Sales Development critical metrics.
  • Experience running successful weekly and monthly team meetings.
