Senior Business Analyst (IT)

What you will do

• Determine whether applications should be retained, replaced, or retired, and translate decisions into roadmaps and project plans.
• Develop change management strategies and transition plans, coordinating communications, stakeholder readiness, and cutover activities.
• Engage stakeholders, elicit and prioritize requirements, and establish governance routines across IT and business functions.
• Coordinate IT risk management and vulnerability and penetration testing remediation, while tracking project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Assess application documentation for gaps and compliance with regulatory, architectural, and organizational standards.
• Identify and support solutions and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance IT and business efficiency, effectiveness, and customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience delivering IT and/or digital projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation through handover to operations. Experience in Financial Services or another regulated industry is preferred.
• Experience coordinating and delivering complex project and program deliverables based on customer and business needs.
• Strong business analysis experience, including requirements engineering, process modelling, and documentation, combined with hands-on project or workstream leadership in hybrid or agile environments.
• Ability to organize and coordinate cross-functional teams, negotiate deadlines, manage dependencies, and secure commitments from stakeholders and vendors.
• Ability to work effectively across businesses, time zones, and international cultures.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including translating complex technical and architectural topics into clear business language and preparing concise decision and status materials.
• Continuous improvement mindset focused on internal customer satisfaction and improving IT and business processes.
• Curiosity and drive to stay current with trends in Insurance, IT, and relevant security, data protection, and conduct regulations.
• Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
