Business Systems Analyst

Location: New York City (primary), Denver, Chicago, Singapore, London, San Francisco, Austin, or Los Angeles; 5 days in-person

What you will do

• Gather business requirements, map processes, and define acceptance criteria before changing shared systems.
• Improve data models, workflow automation, and integrations across internal business tools.
• Partner with technical owners to connect data and maintain consistent records.
• Trace inconsistent records to their originating processes or integrations and fix underlying causes.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, documentation, and rollout readiness for system changes.

Requirements

• Experience configuring or analyzing business applications and workflows.
• Ability to understand the operational need behind requested features.
• Ability to trace data inconsistencies to their source.
• Careful execution when testing changes and maintaining clear decision records.
• Ability to turn ambiguous requests into clear specifications, diagnose data-flow issues, and explain downstream effects.

Nice to have

• CRM or recruiting systems experience.
• Experience with SQL, APIs, integrations, CRM administration, or business-process automation.
