Business Systems Analyst (CRM)

Location: Remote in the United States; authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and elicit requirements for change.
• Gather and analyze data, develop business requirements, prepare business cases, and recommend priorities and timelines.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, workflows, business rules, interface definitions, process models, diagrams, and charts.
• Conduct gap analysis, estimate project impact and upgrade costs, and collaborate with programmers, architects, developers, and business stakeholders on solution design.
• Evaluate vendor release notes and support process redesign and documentation for enhancements.
• Triage incidents and problems, communicate business impact, and perform required on-call or after-hours work.

Requirements

• BS or BA with an emphasis in computer science, information systems, or business administration, plus 5–7 or more years of related work experience.
• Experience working with IT development staff on complex projects and a strong technical background.
• Proven experience in business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
• Strong data analysis, statistical analysis, presentation, documentation, communication, planning, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to create consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, influence stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and work collaboratively.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid environments.
• Technical understanding of CRM systems, including data models, entities, relationships, business rules, workflows, and security roles; experience with Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira for user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization.
• Competency in Microsoft Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
• Ability to remain stationary for a majority of the workday.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or similar systems.
• Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
