Senior Business Systems Analyst

Location: United States; remote

Base salary for US-based candidates: $88,900–$160,100/year. Compensation outside the US varies.

What you will do

• Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand objectives, identify challenges, and gather requirements.
• Analyze business processes and translate needs into functional requirements, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Work with developers and QA teams to clarify requirements, resolve functional questions, and support application enhancements and integrations.
• Analyze application integrations, data flows, dependencies, and cross-system change impacts.
• Drive assigned business analysis activities, follow up on open questions and dependencies, and keep deliverables progressing.
• Participate across the SDLC, including solution design, development, testing, UAT, implementation, post-deployment support, defect resolution, and validation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis or a similar IT role, plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Functional knowledge of enterprise applications such as CRM, Contract Lifecycle Management, billing, or other business-critical platforms.
• Good understanding of the SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Experience working with development and QA teams on application enhancements and integrations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, take ownership, and proactively drive requirements and issues to resolution.
