Forward Deployed Product Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; 4 days in person and Fridays remote

Salary: $200K–$275K plus equity

What you will do

• Translate ambiguous customer problems into product requirements, user journeys, success metrics, and PRDs.
• Prototype AI-powered systems, work with proprietary data, and assemble and maintain ground-truth datasets.
• Run offline and online evaluations; improve prompts, context design, and system quality with engineers.
• Make product-level decisions on mhirify.globall selection, retrieval, agent design, context management, and build versus buy.
• Coordinate planning, execution, risks, and tradeoffs across customers, engineers, designers, and hirify.global teammates.
• Drive rollout, customer adoption, enablement, product insights, and team-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or data science, with experience building and shipping products across multiple cycles.
• Strong engineering, data, or technical product management background; able to whiteboard end-to-end architecture, read data schemas, and build medium-complexity systems with AI tools.
• Practical fluency in mhirify.globalrn AI systems, including retrieval, agentic search, context management, reasoning mhirify.globalls, tool-using agents, and related tradeoffs.
• Quantitative fluency in analyzing cost per transaction, accuracy, latency, and system tradeoffs.
• Ability to work directly with client stakeholders, run working sessions, present to executives, and connect technical concepts to business outcomes.
• Strong structured problem-solving, written and verbal communication, ownership, and bias for action.
• Comfort managing ambiguity, high-intensity environments, multiple projects, and incomplete information.
• Intellectual humility, fast learning, high integrity, low ego, high agency, and a team-first mentality.

• Client-facing or consulting experience.
