Lead Product Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, or other US locations

Base compensation: $204K–$283K in San Francisco/New York City; $183K–$255K in other US locations, plus equity.

What you will do

• Drive high-impact product initiatives from discovery and problem definition through launch, adoption, and iteration across multiple squads and product surfaces.
• Shape product strategy and multi-quarter roadmaps with the VP of Product and product leadership.
• Engage enterprise buyers, end users, and prospects to identify unmet needs and validate product direction.
• Partner with engineering and design on requirements, technical tradeoffs, LLMs, agents, platform architecture, and data.
• Align go-to-market, sales, marketing, customer success, and executive stakeholders around strategy and tradeoffs.
• Define success metrics, evaluate outcomes, and mentor product managers while raising product craft across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience owning and shipping complex, high-impact products, ideally in SaaS, platform, infrastructure, or AI/ML environments.
• Senior- or staff-level experience operating autonomously across ambiguous, multi-team problem spaces and influencing outcomes beyond the immediate team.
• Strong customer orientation, including direct customer engagement, signal synthesis, and workflow-focused product design.
• Technical credibility in discussions with engineers and researchers about system design, LLM capabilities, data, and architecture.
• Strategic thinking combined with strong execution, including vision-setting and detailed release planning.
• Exceptional communication across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
• Mentoring ability and a data-informed, outcome-driven approach to defining and achieving product success.

Nice to have

• Experience building products powered by LLMs, generative AI, or large-scale AI/ML systems.
• Background in enterprise software, developer platforms, or developer-facing products.
• Familiarity with AI governance, guardrails, and operational considerations for regulated or high-stakes AI deployments.
