Product Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Williamsburg, NY or Santa Monica, CA; Remote - US is also available. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $150K–$180K plus equity.

What you will do

• Investigate failures across the Independent Dispute Resolution process, quantify issues, identify root causes, and present clear options.
• Learn how Operations works, identify manual workarounds, and turn process gaps into product capabilities.
• Use models, experiments, and LLM evaluations to improve offers, IDRE selection, and position statements.
• Shape the roadmap using operational insights, data, and experiment results.
• Own initiatives from discovery through launch, including requirements, prioritization, measurement, and iteration.
• Partner with Engineering on technical tradeoffs and practical releases.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience, including banking or management consulting and at least 1 year at a startup in strategy, operations, or product.
• Strong quantitative skills, including clear and auditable spreadsheets and a strong understanding of math and statistics.
• Proficiency in SQL and the ability to pull and validate numbers independently.
• Technical fluency sufficient to work closely with engineers and evaluate tradeoffs.
• Detail orientation, structured problem solving, proactive ownership, curiosity, and fast learning.
• Clear, concise writing that turns complex information into actionable specifications and updates.
• Daily use of AI tools with the judgment to verify their output.
• Interest in building products.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Healthcare experience, especially revenue cycle or payer experience.
• Familiarity with the No Surprises Act and Independent Dispute Resolution.
