Senior Consultant – Presales Cloud Architect (Cloud)

Location: Hybrid role based in Madrid or Barcelona, Spain; only applications from these locations will be considered.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical advisor for cloud services and solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS during the sales process.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate business needs into tailored cloud architectures and solution offerings.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution designs, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with sales, architecture, operations, and product teams to define optimal solutions.
• Build trusted client relationships and participate in customer meetings, workshops, and events.
• Monitor cloud technology trends, market developments, and industry standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in presales or solution consulting, ideally in cloud or IT services.
• Proven experience designing and leading technical cloud projects on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP; hybrid and multi-cloud experience is advantageous.
• Ability to build architectures and provide prescriptive guidance across complex IT landscapes, including networks, storage, operating systems, virtualization, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Hadoop, and security.
• Working knowledge of cloud migration methodologies and processes and reference architecture development for web-based applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation frameworks.
• Advanced or native Spanish and a high level of English are required.

• Exposure to Cloudamize for cloud migration assessments.
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and consultative skills.
• Ability to lead teams, manage project deliverables, and work independently and collaboratively.
