Tech Lead – Labs Domain (Valencia)

What you will do

• Own the technical direction and architecture of products in the Labs domain.
• Design and evolve product architecture and translate features into technical tasks and implementation approaches.
• Lead sprint planning, technical refinement, and pragmatic delivery in partnership with the Digital Product Owner.
• Ensure DevOps, testing, security, and operational practices are established and maintained.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and enterprise architecture teams on standards and constraints.
• Mentor developers and raise the team’s technical quality and delivery standards.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on background as a senior engineer, developer, technical architect, or technical lead.
• Experience acting as a technical lead and leading or coaching engineers in agile or product-oriented teams.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, cloud-native architectures, integrations, and modern architectures.
• Ability to make clear technical decisions, explain trade-offs, and balance delivery priorities with long-term maintainability.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions using containerization technologies.
• Ability to run effective delivery teams and establish healthy ways of working.
• Ability to collaborate with Enterprise Architecture on standards and constraints.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lab environments, including LIMS workflows, sample tracking, and provenance.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-focused domains, including GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, or GDPR.
• Lab/LIMS domain knowledge or experience with enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Experience with advanced observability tools and APM solutions.
• Spanish language skills.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale or regulated environments.
