Software Architect (AdTech)

Join Sigma Software’s AdTech Business Unit, Stellar, which develops advanced advertising technology solutions for global companies and startups across programmatic advertising, distributed systems, and cloud-native platforms.

What you will do

• Define and drive scalable AdTech architectures and distributed cloud platforms across multiple initiatives.
• Own architectural decisions, technical direction, standards, governance, and engineering best practices.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture assessments, solution design, estimations, PoCs, and customer-facing pre-sales activities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and future-proof technical solutions.
• Guide engineering teams on architecture implementation, scalability, performance optimization, and distributed systems design.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions, mentor engineers, and support technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of commercial software development experience, including at least 3 years in architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in at least two of Golang, Rust, Node.js, and C++.
• Experience designing high-load, low-latency distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, messaging systems, caching, and API design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and related technologies.
• Experience with production environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with REST APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, and event streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
• Experience in customer-facing technical consulting and pre-sales activities.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, independent ownership, and ability to drive initiatives in fast-paced environments.
• At least Upper-Intermediate English.

Nice to have

• Commercial AdTech experience and knowledge of programmatic ecosystems, including SSPs, DSPs, AdServers, Header Bidding, OpenRTB, Prebid, and VAST.
• Understanding of real-time bidding systems and auction mechanics.
• Experience with mobile advertising ecosystems for iOS and Android.
• Experience designing SDKs, APIs, libraries, or integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with advertising analytics, fraud detection, consent management, and real-time data processing.
• Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and privacy-first architectures.
