Director, Corporate Communications

Location: Dallas, TX, or Remote - US

Base salary: $150,000–$160,000 annually plus annual bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Oversee daily internal and external communications with the VP of Corporate Communications, including editorial calendars, reviews, approvals, and quality standards.
• Lead change and transformation communications for enterprise initiatives, including stakeholder mapping, sequencing, leader toolkits, FAQs, and post-launch follow-through.
• Plan and run multi-channel campaigns and recurring content series across SharePoint, Slack, email, and live events.
• Manage communications for people managers and senior leaders, including strategy, change, and culture messaging.
• Lead executive communications, thought leadership, speaking and media opportunities, presentations, and messaging counsel.
• Strengthen corporate reputation through narrative development, awards, industry recognition, and industry presence in partnership with Marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of progressive corporate communications experience spanning internal and external communications, including ownership of high-visibility programs.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt CEO messages, Slack announcements, SharePoint features, and manager talking points to different voices, audiences, and formats.
• Demonstrated success leading change and transformation communications in a complex organization.
• Experience running campaigns and recurring content series from concept through measurement.
• Hands-on daily use of generative AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot, with sound judgment regarding limitations and confidential information.
• Deep working knowledge of enterprise channels, including SharePoint, Slack, and email.
• Experience supporting C-level executives through counsel, thought leadership, speeches, and presentations.
• Experience building communications programs from the ground up and influencing across teams without direct authority, with high judgment and discretion.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience with health plans, payers, providers, or healthcare technology.
• Experience communicating with a global, distributed workforce.
• Experience managing SharePoint intranet sites or other enterprise content platforms.
